Best Fall Recipes Loved by Lakeland 55+ Communities Real Estate Brokers

Have you heard of any recommended places to get your fix of fall meals from your Lakeland 55+ communities real estate broker? There’s absolutely plenty of good places in town to discover but have you tried making your own? You just might find out how better your cooking is. Fall is the perfect season to work up the kitchen. Here are a few ideas to get you started with the season’s spirit.

Here are delicious recipes you can enjoy in your Lakeland 55+ communities homes this fall season!

Cranberry Apple Stuffed Pork Loin

Who knew that cranberries, apples and pork loin would go well together? It may sound weird for some but this is definitely an awesome roast recipe that has autumn written all over it. The key to the filling is letting croutons soak up in a bowl of chicken stock. Once the croutons have absorbed the stock well, mash it together with apples, cranberries, maple syrup, rosemary, shallots and walnuts. Spread the filling on one side of a butterfly roast. Roll it up and secure with kitchen string. Roast it in an oven at 325 degrees for an hour or so. It is important the the internal temperature of your roast reaches around 140 to 145 degrees. Once finished, you’ll have a wonderful meal to enjoy.

Chiffon Pumpkin Pie

Pumpkin pie is a staple around Lakeland 55+ communities real estate during the season of fall. This is the season to use an excuse in coming up with different variations of pumpkin pie too. This chiffon pumpkin pie might seem like your basic pumpkin pie. The secret lies in the gingersnap cookies that make up the crust. Instead of using plain ready made crust or homemade crust out of flour, try crushed gingersnap cookies infused with butter and ground ginger. For the filling, combine cinnamon, nutmeg, milk, brown sugar, gelatin, ground ginger, rum, heavy cream and of course the pumpkin puree. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes until the pie is soft according to your likeness. This is something you can enjoy after a filling meal of cranberry apple stuffed pork loin!

Spicy Pumpkin Hummus

If your Lakeland FL real estate broker hasn’t tried hummus yet this is a recipe that you could also try and share. Hummus is a Mediterranean food made of chickpeas and sesame seeds but for the love of fall, we can definitely add a bit more. In a food processor, simply mix chickpeas with pumpkin puree, garlic, water, cumin, lemon juice, salt, cayenne pepper and olive oil. Mix until it reaches a good thick consistency which you can enjoy with bread, chips or crackers.

You can also come up with your very own fall recipe. Fall is such a lovely season to enjoy around Lakeland 55+ communities real estate. You can discover more interesting recipes and ideas for fall through this website http://www.LakelandFloridaLiving.com.
