Have you ever had Fried Oreo Cookies? Most people eat Oreo cookies with milk, I was at the Lakeland Pig Fest and noticed a sign "Fried Oreo Cookie". Interesting concept and worth a try.
I took the picture just before consuming this delicous treat at the annual Pig Fest in Lakeland Florida.

Ok.. now those just look decadent! The San Diego County Fair has fried twinkies and fried snickers, but this is a new one!
A heart attack waiting to happen....I'll take one anyway! lol
Hi Petra, they do look good! Did you get the recipe?
That sounds great. What were the cookies wrapped in?
Susan - This one was definitely tasty :)
Trey - Oh, you only live once :)
Gary - No, I didn't get the recipe, they were extremely busy.
Wayne - I'm thinking it was pancake batter mix, but I'm not sure.
Petra ~ "Fried Oreo Cookie", never heard of such a thing. Looks yummy!
I heard of them, but never had the chance to indulge. I think I'd die n the spot from all the trans fat in just one of those, but I'm sure it would be worth it :)
Fried oreos, I'm speechles! Seems very fitting that you found these at the Pig Fest! I tried a fried twinkine once, and thought I would have prefered a plain old normal twinkie
OMG. I have heard of all these specialty fried things but this would be the ultimate. No calories there! :-)
Petra,
We have them here. They're fried in a funnel cake type of batter, but I don't know what's it in. :)

Petra, here I am in the "Year of the Diet and Getting Fit" and we have some new amazing concept of the Oreo cookie. I'm afraid I will pass....but I bet they were delicious. I let you enjoy them for me! I'm glad to know about them so I can talk about "Fried Oreo Cookies"! Cute post!
I'm really hungry now...perhaps a fried Oreo for breakfast?
