Plumerias Can Grow In My Backyard, Too
I am always dreaming of one day in my life traveling to Hawaii on a vacation. It has always been one of my many dreams....in fact I wanted to take a vacation when my husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary instead we celebrated my daughter marrying her high school sweetheart. Seeing them off to Hawaii for their honeymoon wanted me to go even more. When the came back from their honeymoon, my daughter brought me back a beautiful lei (Hawaiian garland), the fragrance that came from the lei was very intoxicating, yet pleasant which was made up of plumerias.

During the Spring Obsession a vendor sold Plumerias and explained to me how to get it started... low and behold I tried so hard that I over watered the plant and killed it. I gone to a nursery and bought two plumerias and planted it in a pot and followed the instructions from the nursery again. One of the dogs, thought it was a bone and pulled one of the plumerias out of the pot before I got to it. Luckily, I saved one of the Plumerias.

I wanted to share with you the blossoms of my plumeria, which I'm so proud because I don't have the touch for growing plants and flowers.
